I'm Laura and this is my Little Nest. I have been a photographer since 1998, after finishing up college and following my heart to Denver. Classically trained in the art of photography, I was lucky enough to collect a handful of awards along the way, get published in some great magazines, and work with some incredibly talented people. While I love my work, being a mom is the dearest part of my life. Like many homes, ours is in loud constant motion, moving from one place to the next constantly striving for slow mornings and long bedtime story cuddles. We put God first, our family second and all else falls into place.
Keeping your children documented isn't just a 'to do' or an annual holiday card. It's where we will turn when the nest is empty. Photographs and prints, art on the walls, albums for our grandchildren to point at and squeal and find their likeness reflected back in the face of their own mom or dad. My children are changing and growing so fast; no iPhone can keep up with their beauty and spirits. With Little Nest, I want other mom's to find a place of kindred hearts: we get it. I opened Little Nest with compassion and empathy for what it's like to be a mom.
I'm a photographer for the love of life and art, for the love of my own children and documenting their cherub faces and wild spirits, because all families deserve beautiful portraits.
Coming soon you'll meet the ladies who make Little Nest special.
